Don’t Wait For Someone Else To Tell Your Story
Don’t wait for someone else to tell your story.
You will always know yourself best even as you continue to change, learn, grow, and evolve.
Right now, we’re in LA filming a project that’s both exciting and vulnerable. Yes, we are documenting the creative chaos, quiet moments, and everything in between along the way as we are out of our comfort zones.
Most days you’ll find us behind our screens, working from home to help others share their stories through content, design, and marketing to reach their goals. But this time, we’ve flipped the lens and are stepping into the spotlight ourselves, like we’ve been trying to do more often since launching our website at the end of 2024.
Owning your narrative and putting yourself out there to align with the opportunities you deserve is something we’ve always encouraged our clients to do. And yet, for us, taking our own advice has been one of the most challenging parts.
What we’ve realized is that waiting for someone else to tell your story means risking it being watered down, misunderstood, or told from a place that missed the heart of it all. We’ve chosen not to wait. Not because we have it all figured out now, but because we’re finally ready to tell it on our terms, authentically.
Our entire journey has been a silent grind up until this point, but we’re reminded that our voice is powerful and our story is just as important to share.
Your voice is powerful too. Your story matters, and you never need permission to share it.
Art featured in the video is an ink and acrylic on canvas titled ‘Congress’ by Julie Mehretu, currently in the collection at The Broad Museum in Los Angeles.
