Happy Easter!
Happy Easter!
So thankful for these little moments with loved ones that make life truly beautiful. Here’s to soaking in the joy and finding endless reasons to feel blessed.
Like a lot of things this year, this was the first Easter we were able to celebrate with our family in over 5 years, and it almost didn’t happen. Our only plans for Easter were to help with a shoot onsite in our city in the morning, but the day before we got a text message from Adam’s cousin saying they were coming into town. Having not seen them in a while, we rearranged our day and planned to get dinner and hang out.
Later that day, we were out at dinner catching up with a good friend and received more texts that the family was now getting together for some good ol’ Texas grilling. We quickly rearranged our schedule for the day again (something we do quite often in our line of work) and looked forward to being with family the next day.
After the morning photoshoot, which was delayed a bit due to the rain, we eventually made our way home around 1 pm to quickly change into something more casual and headed over to Adam’s grandfather’s house. Everyone had already eaten, but plates were set aside for us, and we enjoyed eating and catching up with everyone. The TV (which is always on) had the movie Angels In The Outfield on, which is one of Anusha’s favorite movies of all time, so it was a nice vibe.
To our surprise, even though the family plans for today were all last minute, the family was able to hide cascarones for our 2-year-old niece, and the celebration was the first of its kind in years. Filled with impromptu joy, togetherness, and oodles of fun. It was reminiscent of our first Easter together as a couple over 9 years ago and brought back all the feels.
As tired as we were, we spent the rest of the day talking about everything and anything before everyone went their separate ways. Despite the tiredness, we got straight to work editing the day’s festivities as soon as we got home. We regret not bringing our nicer camera equipment with us to capture all the memories, but the family sent all the clips and photos of different qualities that turned into a charming home video highlight that we’ll cherish forever.
In fact, some of our favorite videos we’ve created are personalized videos for special moments like weddings, family vacations, cherished events, and more. They are purely for individuals and families to enjoy looking back at their own memories.
